Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks
  • capability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to assist with multiple hotel responsibilities
  • good communication skills
  • adherence to safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
  • strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • good communication and teamwork abilities
  • familiarity with safety and emergency procedures
  • physical ability to perform manual labor tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • performing drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
