Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks
- capability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to assist with multiple hotel responsibilities
- good communication skills
- adherence to safety procedures
Job Qualifications

- previous experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- strong organizational and inventory management skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- familiarity with safety and emergency procedures
- physical ability to perform manual labor tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- performing drywall repair, painting, caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
