Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
flexibility to perform multiple hotel responsibilities
ability to manage and maintain inventory
willingness to follow property emergency procedures
commitment to equal employment opportunity

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks
ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
strong organizational skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
good communication skills

Job Duties

Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
implementing preventative maintenance programs
performing public space janitorial work
performing parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
cleaning PTAC units
performing drywall repair, painting, caulking
maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
performing other duties as assigned
