Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in maintenance or similar roles preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, and sustained bending and twisting
  • Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities in a hotel environment
  • Availability to work full-time hours
  • Willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Performing light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance programs and public space janitorial work
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
