Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Strong commitment to safety and security protocols
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to kneel, squat, bend, and stand for long periods
- Must be able to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or hospitality maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of light electrical and plumbing tasks
- Ability to manage inventory effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Executing preventative maintenance programs
- Conducting public space janitorial work including parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Cleaning PTAC units
- Performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
