Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- basic understanding of preventative maintenance tasks
- effective communication skills
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- willingness to work flexible hours and perform various duties
- reliable and punctual
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in property maintenance or hotel operations preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to handle multiple tasks and duties efficiently
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- cleaning PTAC units, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
