Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in maintenance or hotel property attendant role preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to climb stairs and ladders and perform tasks requiring kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
- ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- willingness to adhere to safety and security procedures
- authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to use maintenance tools and equipment
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures
- reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- conducting preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair, painting, caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
