Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or hotel property attendant role preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders and perform tasks requiring kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • willingness to adhere to safety and security procedures
  • authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to use maintenance tools and equipment
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures
  • reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
