Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to perform physical labor including repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
  • willingness to adhere to safety and emergency procedures
  • flexible availability to complete various tasks
  • ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • commitment to upholding company policies including drug-free workplace

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in general maintenance or hotel property upkeep
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs
  • familiarity with basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • effective communication and teamwork abilities

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • implementing preventative maintenance programs
  • performing janitorial work in public spaces
  • maintaining the parking lot and conducting trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
