Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform physical labor including repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
- willingness to adhere to safety and emergency procedures
- flexible availability to complete various tasks
- ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- commitment to upholding company policies including drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in general maintenance or hotel property upkeep
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs
- familiarity with basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong organizational and inventory management skills
- effective communication and teamwork abilities
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- implementing preventative maintenance programs
- performing janitorial work in public spaces
- maintaining the parking lot and conducting trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
