Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or facilities management preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Capability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to perform the required tasks
- Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Conducting light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Carrying out public space janitorial duties including parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Performing PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and placing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
