Peppino's Promo Crew is an integral part of the Grand Rapids Griffins, a professional ice hockey team based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Griffins compete in the American Hockey League (AHL) and serve as the primary development team for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). Job Requirements
- Able to work all home games nights weekends and holidays are required
- Must have own reliable mode of transportation
- Assist in additional operational and administrative duties as needed
- Must be comfortable with physical labor and must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Able to work effectively with little to no supervision
- Outgoing with excellent communication skills and act as a team ambassador with every interaction
- Must have excellent strong personal organizational skills and be detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Skilled ice skater desired but not required
Job Duties
- Assist in the setup and teardown of all home games including signage promotional materials and fan engagement stations
- Support the planning and execution of all in-game promotions theme nights and intermission activities
- Assist the team mascot with in-game activities appearances and time management
- Provide hands-on assistance during games including decorating managing giveaways and troubleshooting logistical needs
- Track and maintain inventory of event equipment ensuring proper usage and organization
- Engage with and encourage fans to participate in contests and activities to keep the energy level high
- Represent the Griffins team at community sanctioned events
