This position requires someone with 5 to 7 years of project coordination experience in commercial construction, especially those familiar with restaurant build-outs and tenant improvements.
As a Project Coordinator, organization, accuracy, and strong communication skills are essential. You will be involved in coordinating contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and maintaining meticulous documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and procurement processes. You will act as a key communicator with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams, ensuring that projects are on schedule and that all stakeholders are well-informed. Job Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of project coordination experience required in commercial construction
- preference for candidates currently working in commercial construction, restaurant construction, or a general contracting environment
- strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and documentation
- demonstrated experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project closeout documents
- proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- clear written and verbal communication skills
- ability to submit a project portfolio showcasing relevant commercial or restaurant construction work
