UL Solutions is a globally recognized leader in applied safety science, dedicated to transforming safety, security, and sustainability challenges into opportunities for customers across more than 110 countries. As a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: ULS), UL Solutions is widely known for its commitment to advancing safety through rigorous testing, inspection, and certification services. The company also offers software products and advisory solutions that support customer innovation, business growth, and regulatory compliance. The UL Mark is a trusted symbol for consumers and businesses alike, representing a steadfast promise of product safety and reliability. UL Solutions partners with some of the world's largest retailers, working across a diverse range of consumer products from life jackets and lawnmowers to toys, televisions, beauty, wellness products, vitamins, and supplements. In each of these categories, UL Solutions plays a vital role in market surveillance, auditing, and supply chain inspection to ensure products are safe, ethically sourced, and meet the highest standards for sustainability and fairness in manufacturing.
The Project Coordinator role at UL Solutions is a pivotal position within the Retail & Consumer Products Center of Excellence located in Lowell, Arkansas. The position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about safety science and are eager to support testing programs that directly influence consumer product safety. As a Project Coordinator, you will serve as a project lead for basic test programs, coordinating laboratory activities while guiding lab staff through testing schedules and task completion to meet project deadlines efficiently. You will be responsible for understanding and applying test standards, testing technologies, regulations, and certifications pertinent to your assigned scope. An important aspect of this role is supporting communication with customers by providing project status updates and ensuring that the team comprehensively understands customer needs. Collaboration with the sales team to determine project specifications such as cost, time, and sample requirements will also be part of your responsibilities.
This role emphasizes continuous improvement, where you will integrate methodologies to enhance project processes and document management, bolstering overall project efficiency and quality. While primarily a hybrid position based out of Lowell, Arkansas, occasional travel to client sites or other UL locations may be required to support customer testing initiatives or attend industry-related events. As a steward of the company's high ethical standards, you will be expected to adhere to the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and maintain all physical and digital security protocols strictly. This position offers the chance to make a tangible impact by helping create safer consumer products that shape people’s lives every day. Join UL Solutions as a Project Coordinator and contribute your skills to a company whose science is your advantage.
