The Programming Coordinator role at KLTV / KTRE is an integral position responsible for managing and maintaining broadcast programming schedules in close collaboration with major networks like ABC, Telemundo, and Bounce. This role involves daily coordination with broadcast ratings services such as Nielsen and Comscore, ensuring programming consistency, and fulfilling Federal Communications Commission (FCC) reporting obligations. The position also supports special event planning under the direction of the General Manager and requires detailed organizational skills to manage programming grids and calendars effectively.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in broadcast programming or media coordination preferred
- proficiency with Office 365 software
- excellent communication skills
- strong organizational abilities
- ability to manage multiple programming schedules and calendars
- familiarity with FCC reporting requirements

Job Duties
- Communicate with ABC, Telemundo, and Bounce on programming lineups, delineate program information to the local team, check discrepancy reports, and reconcile
- daily interaction with broadcast ratings services - Nielsen and Comscore
- coordinate program changes with the Gray Media traffic/programming hub
- manage paid programming availabilities
- prepare regular industry-level reports to the FCC, music licensing, public file updates, as well as the FCC children’s programming report
- special employee event planning as directed by the General Manager
