Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Eligible for situational telework, including Emergency and Unscheduled Telework
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Must be able to handle and safeguard classified information
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Must file annual OGE-450 confidential financial disclosure
  • Financial Management Level 3 Certified position
  • Appointment is permanent, full-time
  • Must attend annual ethics and procurement training

Job Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in financial management leadership
  • Direct experience with PPBE process preferred
  • Experience with space and ground systems programs
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
  • Cost estimating experience preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with local and geographically dispersed teams

Job Duties

  • Provide strategic budgetary advisement across all appropriations
  • Ensure achievable execution plans are identified and met
  • Work with acquisition and mission delta financial leads
  • Represent the PEO on the SSC Financial Management Strategic Council
  • Provide essential analytical support to Space Force leaders on classified and national interest programs
  • Lead collaborations to assess program health and future financial investments
  • Communicate effectively across senior leadership and DoD organizations
