The position of Program Coordinator at Camp Korey is a vital leadership role focused on facilitating the flow of camp activities and ensuring an exceptional camper experience while maintaining high standards for safety and engagement. Reporting directly to the Camp Director, this full-time role runs from April 1 through September 15, 2026, with a monthly salary of $3200 plus room and board accommodations. The Program Coordinator will be onsite at the Mount Vernon campus and will lead the Activity Team by supervising staff such as the Activity Lead and Media Specialist while partnering with other departments to adapt programs to camper needs, including those with complex medical conditions.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily schedule, coordinating activities, troubleshooting real-time issues, and supporting both campers and staff in a dynamic camp environment. This includes organizing pre-camp training focused on programming, safety, and engagement, ensuring all activity spaces meet safety and inclusivity standards, and helping with special events like carnivals and campfires. Success in this role requires a flexible, growth-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive during physically demanding days of programming. To qualify, candidates must be at least 21 years old and capable of passing background checks and health screenings, with CPR/AED certification obtained within the first week of employment.
