Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field
- One year of experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports
- Or an equivalent combination of education and directly related full-time work experience
- Must have a current Maricopa County Food Handler's Card or the ability to obtain one
- Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License
- Ability to meet district minimum standards regarding driving
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift or carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to travel to all MCCCD locations
- Ability to work 100% in-person according to event schedule
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field
- Experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports
- Two or more years' experience in catering, hospitality or food service
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines related to catered events
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective use of Microsoft Office and catering/event booking software
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and evenings as scheduled events dictate
- One year of full-time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two years
Job Duties
- Manage auxiliary services related event bookings with main focus on catering events, including preparing and distributing banquet event orders (BEO's)
- Assist with setup, service, and breakdown of catering events
- Generate and distribute invoices and track accounts receivable
- Schedule and manage catering staff for events and assist with event services staff
- Assist with event room set-ups and fleet vehicle reservations
- Perform other duties as assigned
