Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • at least five years of experience working in events or film, TV, or gaming production
  • ability to work nights and weekends
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • flexibility for last-minute schedule changes
  • ability to travel domestically and internationally with limited notice

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • five years of experience in events or film, TV, or gaming production
  • proficiency in organizational tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Air Table, Jot Form, FileMaker Pro, Slack, and Adobe Suite programs
  • strong communication skills

  • experience managing event logistics

Job Duties

  • Curate engaging programming for SCADFILM events and festivals
  • conduct research and pre-interviews on potential topics and guests
  • pitch program ideas
  • manage event scheduling and logistics
  • liaise with publicity and legal departments about paperwork, releases, licensing, and media requests
  • collaborate with SCAD faculty, staff, and Box Office team
  • maintain event files and spreadsheets
  • oversee SCADFILM website, event listings, and social media channels
  • manage social media content calendar
  • provide administrative support to producers and directors
  • serve as host during festivals and events
  • lead tours for industry guests and prospective students
  • monitor entertainment industry in Georgia for networking
  • manage transportation for on-site events
  • conduct outreach at SCAD Atlanta and community groups
  • speak publicly at events on behalf of SCAD
  • prepare writeups and scripts
  • staff events as needed
  • create social media content to support department and leadership mission
