The position of Program and Event Coordinator at BSH is a full-time role based in Irvine, CA. The role offers a competitive pay range from $29.36 to $39.14 per hour and includes an annual bonus opportunity with a 1% incentive target. The Program and Event Coordinator is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of national and regional events and programs across the U.S. Experience & Design Centers (EDCs). This role requires a highly self-directed professional capable of managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives with minimal supervision while ensuring alignment with key internal stakeholders such as EDC Managers, Regional Directors, and VPs.
The coordinator acts as the central point of contact for program development, vendor management, and communication strategies, ensuring seamless execution of experiences that add value to customers, trade partners, and internal teams. Responsibilities also include managing event logistics, maintaining event standards across multiple locations, developing and updating standard operating procedures, and tracking program outcomes. The role demands strong collaboration skills, as the coordinator works closely with EDC managers, sales leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive program success. Additionally, the coordinator interfaces with showroom visitors and supports showroom operations, emphasizing customer engagement and hospitality.
This role calls for an individual with a bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field, and certification in Cvent. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in event coordination or hospitality, displaying an exceptional ability to manage multiple high-impact events with overlapping deadlines. Job Duties
- Independently plans, manages, and executes national and regional events and programs
- Serves as the primary contact for program development, execution, and coordination
- Collaborates closely with EDC Managers and Admin/Purchasing to select and manage program vendors
- Develops, manages, and maintains event websites and program communications across time zones
- Sends pre- and post-event communications including invitations, confirmations, and follow-ups
- Oversees day-of event logistics on-site at local EDC ensuring positive guest experiences
- Manages event details at home EDC location from inception to execution
- Works closely with EDC Managers to align program execution with business goals and local needs
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with sales managers, regional managers, directors, and VPs
- Acts as main point of contact for sales nominations and guest registration
- Develops, documents, and updates Standard Operating Procedures for program and event coordination
- Tracks and reports on program outcomes using surveys and performance metrics
- Maintains a centralized calendar of programs and events across EDCs
- Manages event assets such as recipes, QR codes, digital links, and collateral resources
- Coordinates with vendors and contractors ensuring proper communication of quotes and invoices
- Tracks budgets and spending providing regular reports
- Designs and executes guest surveys to assess experience and outcomes
- Compiles and analyzes survey results for continuous improvement
- Develops creative communication strategies to enhance program visibility and engagement
- Interfaces with showroom visitors supporting walk-in and appointment traffic
- Utilizes CRM tools to engage with trade partners and strengthen dealer relationships
- Supports showroom operations including opening/closing duties
- Participates in brand trainings and product updates annually
- Assists with special events and projects outside EDCs
- Adapts quickly to shifting priorities
- May travel to EDC locations.
