Job Description

Job Requirements
- A graduate degree and/or at least two to three years of related professional experience
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe/PDF), Blackbaud Grantmaking software, and specialized program technology
- Preference for experience with faith communities and rural environments
- Strong willingness to work primarily from Charlotte, North Carolina office with occasional remote work
- Demonstrated strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to teamwork and consistent in-office presence
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Conduct research, analyses and draft reports/data visualizations to support the Rural Church program
- Prepare summaries, white papers and reports for various audiences including Endowment Trustees
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices and innovations in the Rural Church sector
- Conduct due diligence and ensure integrity of grantmaking data in various information systems
- Support and advance data, evaluation and communication priorities to demonstrate progress of Rural Church program
- Collaborate with Rural Church and Evaluation teams to analyze impact of grantmaking activities
- Support and engage in relationship-building with grantees
- Assist with convening meetings and conferences for grantees
- Support program staff with coordination of technical assistance and implementation support
- Provide limited support in reviewing grant proposals and applications
- Develop internal and external relationships to advance program priorities
- Represent the Endowment in meetings with philanthropic organizations
- Participate in intra-Endowment committees and special projects
