Job Description

ProDrivers is a reputable transportation company specializing in professional truck driving services, particularly in medical deliveries. The company prides itself on providing stable, local employment opportunities with structured routes and consistent schedules. ProDrivers caters to a niche but vital market segment by delivering medical equipment and supplies directly to patients, clinics, and hospitals, emphasizing the importance of accuracy, care, and professionalism in every delivery. The company supports drivers with a comprehensive work environment, including paid onsite training and ongoing support to maintain high standards of service. This commitment to quality helps ProDrivers sustain a strong reputation in the healthcare logistics industry.

The role available is for both CDL and non-CDL truck drivers who will be responsible for last mile, white glove delivery of sensitive and high-touch medical products. This position is perfect for drivers who value meaningful work—delivering critical medical supplies such as renal care products, IV bags, medications, and some dialysis machines to various healthcare settings and patient homes. The job requires adherence to strict safety and handling protocols to ensure products arrive intact and on time. Drivers will be expected to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, as they represent both the company and the critical healthcare industry.

The truck driver role operates primarily on local routes with the benefit of being home daily, a significant advantage for work-life balance. Drivers will typically handle 10 to 15 stops daily using straight trucks equipped with liftgates, employing tools such as stair climbers and motorized pallet jacks to facilitate deliveries. The use of electronic logging devices (ELDs) and handheld tablets is essential for tracking deliveries and maintaining accuracy in documentation. The job schedule is usually Monday through Friday, with a work window from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, though start times may vary, and occasional Saturday work may be required.

This position not only provides a competitive hourly wage of $23.50 but also offers robust general benefits, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and access to an IRA plan. For professional truck drivers seeking a dependable and rewarding career in medical delivery with a company that values reliability, customer service, and consistency, this role at ProDrivers is an excellent opportunity.
