Job Description

Flamingo is an innovative and dynamic company specializing in providing an all-in-one resident engagement mobile app designed specifically for luxury residential apartment buildings. This app enhances the living experience by offering premium services such as resident events, fitness classes, and concierge services to communities focused on providing a high-quality lifestyle to their residents. Flamingo is dedicated to transforming community living by fostering connections through various unique and enjoyable activities, tailored to meet the needs and interests of residents in luxury apartments.

As a part of our commitment to excellence, Flamingo offers exceptional resident events that include cooking classes, catered parties, culinary events, and more. These services are designed to engage residents, promote social interaction, and deliver memorable experiences. Our platform is not only a tool for entertainment but also a community builder, making living in luxury apartments more vibrant and connected.

We are currently seeking experienced chefs who are passionate about culinary arts and eager to share their skills and love for cooking with our customers. This freelance position offers a flexible work schedule primarily during evenings and weekends, with pay rates ranging from $300 to $500+ per event, depending on the size and duration of the event. As a chef with Flamingo, you will have the opportunity to lead a variety of cooking classes, from sushi to pasta to desserts and Italian cuisine, catering to a diverse group of residents.

The ideal candidate will be a certified or licensed chef with hands-on experience in facilitating cooking classes or providing catering services. Beyond culinary skills, the role requires excellent customer engagement abilities, professionalism, and a positive, upbeat demeanor. You will be the face of Flamingo at events, responsible for ensuring they run smoothly, start and finish on time, and provide an unforgettable experience for residents.

Your responsibilities will extend beyond cooking to event setup, organization, and communication. You will be expected to arrive early to prepare for each event, take photos during the events, and provide valuable feedback to help improve future offerings. Additionally, maintaining communication through email and phone is essential, along with accurate input of attendance data after each event. This role is perfect for chefs looking to combine their culinary skills with community engagement and freelance flexibility, allowing them to share their passion in a unique and rewarding environment.

Joining Flamingo as a freelance chef offers a chance to be part of an innovative company that values creativity, professionalism, and community connection. You will engage with residents who appreciate gourmet culinary experiences and contribute directly to enhancing their quality of life through exceptional events. If you are enthusiastic about cooking, enjoy teaching, and thrive in a social and interactive setting, Flamingo is looking for you to become a Flamingo Pro and help us create outstanding culinary experiences.
