UniFirst is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join their Production Department. This role is integral to the seamless preparation and packaging of orders, including floor mats, ensuring that customers receive high-quality products on time. This position offers a standard 40-hour work week with weekends off, supporting a healthy work-life balance. In this role, the Production Team Partner will be responsible for bundling, packaging, and rolling articles according to company standards, handling flat good orders with precision by selecting items based on style, color, and other specifics. Thorough inspection of products to identify any defects such as tears, holes, stains, or moisture is a critical part of the job to maintain quality control. Adherence to all safety policies, HACCP, and relevant medical guidelines is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment. Under the guidance of area supervisors or management, team partners may be assigned additional duties to meet operational needs. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and clear communication with management. Candidates should be able to stand and walk for eight-hour shifts, lift moderate weights, and perform basic mathematical calculations. Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- minimum age 18 years to operate machinery
- minimum age 16 years for load building area
- ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
- ability to lift 15-30 lbs
- ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- ability to perform basic math with standard weight, volume, and distance units
Job Qualifications
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate mat roller and any machinery
- must be at least 16 years of age or older to work in the load building area
- ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
Job Duties
- Bundle, package, and roll articles in accordance with company requirements
- handle flat good orders and select appropriate items
