Job Description

UniFirst is a leading provider in the garment services industry, boasting a robust international presence and an 80-year legacy of consistent growth and stability. With over 14,000 team partners across the United States, Canada, and Europe, UniFirst serves more than 300,000 business customer locations. This $2 billion organization is renowned for its unique family-oriented culture, which offers employees the advantages of a small company feel combined with the resources and reliability of a major corporation. Recognized by Selling Power magazine as one of the "Best Companies to Sell For" and listed in Forbes magazine's "Platinum 400 - Best Big Companies," UniFirst exemplifies excellence in customer service, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.

The Production Team at UniFirst plays a vital role in ensuring that orders— including floor mats and related products—are prepared and packaged accurately and on time. They embody the collaborative spirit and dedication that have made the company successful for over eight decades. UniFirst emphasizes career growth, diversity, work-life balance, and employee well-being, making it an employer of choice within the garment services sector.

UniFirst is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join their family-oriented Production Department. This role supports the preparation of orders and floor mats destined for delivery to customers. As a Production Team Partner, you will engage in hands-on tasks such as bundling, packaging, and rolling articles based on company standards. This position offers a standard 40-hour workweek with weekends off, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

New team partners receive comprehensive on-the-job training along with ongoing cross-training opportunities that expose them to various production areas. This approach helps team members enhance their skills and opens doors for career advancement, as many company managers began their careers on the production floor itself.

UniFirst offers competitive hourly pay combined with comprehensive benefits such as 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts. The company fosters a culture that values diversity, welcoming individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Every team member is encouraged to contribute fully to the company’s mission in an inclusive and supportive environment.

In this role, you will also be responsible for inspecting products for quality issues such as tears, holes, and stains, while adhering to all safety policies including HACCP and medical guidelines. Attention to detail, clear communication with management, and the ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of measurement are essential to success in this position.

UniFirst is committed to equal opportunity employment and offers accommodations for applicants needing assistance during the hiring process due to medical conditions or disabilities. The company maintains high ethics by protecting applicants against fraudulent requests for personal financial information during recruitment.

In summary, joining UniFirst’s Production Team means being part of a well-established, respected company that values its employees, promotes growth from within, and offers a stable and rewarding career path within the garment services industry.
