The role offered is a supervisory position focused on managing daily operational activities within a manufacturing environment related to mining, stone/sand processing, or cement plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing work plans, overseeing raw material handling, production inventory, quality management, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Leadership duties include managing a team of hourly employees, coordinating safety training, maintaining regulatory interfaces, and addressing employee and public relations concerns.

This position requires a proactive leader equipped to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production processes aiming to minimize negative impacts on end users. Emphasis is placed on maintaining accurate records using SAP, monitoring performance against operating targets, and participating in site leadership activities including meetings and investigations. Job Requirements

  • Associates degree or related experience

Job Duties

  • Execute work plans and daily activities
  • Identify and initiate actions to prevent nonconformities relating to product or process
  • Oversee loading of raw materials and shipment and distribution of finished goods
  • Ensure records and data are entered into SAP as required
  • Manage product inventory and quality to minimize negative impacts to end users
  • Provide leadership to enforce company safety rules and agency regulations
  • Interface with regulatory agencies as needed
  • Communicate operating targets and solicit feedback on gaps versus sales, production, training, and maintenance
  • Manage employee, environmental, and public relations
  • Support compliance with environmental regulations
  • Supervise hourly employees and ensure task completion

  • Ensure task training is completed per MSHA Part 46 guidelines
