The company's mission centers on showcasing client expertise and delivering events that are both innovative and impactful while emphasizing respect, integrity, and a positive, fun work environment.
The Production Manager role at Bluefox Production is pivotal for transforming post-sales event concepts into tangible, planned executions. This full-time, salaried position reports to the Director of Operations and involves considerable responsibility in coordinating the technical, creative, and logistical elements of events that range from corporate meetings and galas to music events, trade shows, and exhibits. The Production Manager acts as the primary liaison among clients, vendors, crews, and internal teams to ensure every event reflects the client's vision and surpasses expectations.
Bluefox's Production Managers utilize their technical expertise in audiovisual disciplines, including audio, video, lighting, staging, and scenic design, to develop precise technical plans that guide the crew during setup and execution. Critical to success in this role are excellent communication skills and relentless attention to detail, which enable the Production Manager to lead teams effectively, solve unexpected challenges with creative problem-solving, and meticulously manage event details. Travel is a significant component of this role, sometimes up to 60% seasonally, requiring flexibility and adaptability to work at varied locations and event scopes.
Compensation for this position ranges from $66,000 to $76,000 annually, reflecting experience and qualifications. The company provides outstanding benefits, including fully employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families, disability and life insurance coverage, flexible paid time off starting at 2.5 weeks shortly after employment, and opportunities for professional growth through biannual bonuses and allowances for professional attire. Monthly cell phone reimbursements and supportive work policies underscore Bluefox's commitment to its employees.
Joining Bluefox as a Production Manager means becoming part of a team that values respect, integrity, teamwork, and creative excellence. Ideal candidates not only bring technical and organizational skills but also demonstrate passion for live events and the ability to inspire and manage crew members in a dynamic environment. The Production Manager’s role is crucial for producing outstanding live experiences that leave lasting impacts on attendees and advance the reputation of both clients and Bluefox Production within the competitive events industry.
