Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years experience in plant production work
- Ability to train and supervise production employees
- Strong understanding of safety policies and procedures
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work occasional shifts in place of absent employees
- Willingness to complete required certifications and training
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years experience in all areas of plant production work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated competency in on-the-job activities related to product safety, legality, and quality
- Ability to promote positive interdepartmental communication and cooperation
- Certification to operate facility metal detector(s) (training provided)
- Completion of AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course (or willingness to complete)
Job Duties
- Ensure that production employees are instructed and trained in the care and safe operations of equipment
- Review records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials
- Perform continuous inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition
- Promote positive relations and interdepartmental communication and cooperation
- Position may be responsible for operating the facility metal detector(s)
- Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel through enforcement of safety policies and procedures
- May occasionally work in place of employees out sick, on vacation, etc.
- Plan and adjust work assignments of personnel to cover all phases of production
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as directed by supervision
- Complete AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course
- Fulfill work schedules and adhere to attendance policies
