The role of Production Lead is crucial within this facility. This leadership position involves overseeing the production line to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently, maintaining high standards for both productivity and food safety compliance. The Production Lead is responsible for setting up the production line properly, monitoring sanitation standards for equipment and work areas continuously throughout the shift, and training and mentoring employees to perform their duties effectively. This hands-on role requires active participation in food preparation activities while supervising to maintain quality, accuracy, and overall line performance. The Production Lead must ensure adherence to stringent food safety standards in a refrigerated environment that maintains temperatures between 34 and 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Applicants for this role should be comfortable working in cold conditions and able to lift up to 25 pounds as the job demands.
