Job Description
We are a USDA-regulated food manufacturing facility committed to producing high-quality food products while adhering to strict food safety and regulatory standards. Our company operates in a structured manufacturing and production environment where safety, cleanliness, and precision are paramount. We pride ourselves on fostering a team-oriented atmosphere that values reliability, consistency, and growth opportunities for our employees. Our facility is designed to meet USDA, HACCP, GMP, and FDA guidelines, ensuring that every batch of food we produce is safe and meets the highest standards of quality. We focus heavily on process control, documentation, and proper food handling protocols to maintain compliance and exceed expectations in the food industry.
The role of Production Cook within our USDA Food Manufacturing Facility is an essential position responsible for large-scale food production tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, highly organized, and regulated environments. As a Production Cook, you will be expected to prepare and cook large-batch recipes strictly following approved production formulas and food safety procedures. Your primary duties will include batching ingredients, cooling, packaging preparation, and ensuring proper storage of finished products. You will also maintain an audit-ready workstation by keeping work areas clean and organized, adhering to allergen controls, labeling requirements, and FIFO (first-in, first-out) processes to guarantee product integrity.
Beyond food preparation, this role requires a meticulous approach to documenting production activities, including temperature logs and batch records. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential since you will work closely with other production staff to meet daily volume goals and maintain continuous workflow. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, punctual, and capable of following complex instructions under a strict food safety framework.
Our facility offers a stable, full-time production schedule with competitive pay based on experience. Training will be provided on USDA systems and procedures to ensure you have the knowledge and tools needed to succeed. We encourage bilingual candidates or those who speak Spanish to apply, reflecting our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace. This opportunity provides the potential for career advancement within the food manufacturing industry, with support for continuous training and development. If you are passionate about food safety, consistency, and producing quality products at scale, we invite you to join our professional and dedicated team. Apply today to be part of a dynamic USDA food manufacturing operation where your contributions will help uphold excellence in food production.
