Kraft Heinz, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a prominent player in the food manufacturing industry known for producing some of the most beloved household brands across the United States. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Willingness to work early first shift schedule from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
  • Ability to stand for extended periods in varying temperature conditions
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a non-union environment
  • Willingness to follow company values and standards

Job Duties

  • Check viscosity of soup
  • Wash and sanitize kettles after every formula
  • Process a daily schedule by referring to recipes and coordinating prep department
  • Fill out paperwork and IQS entries and inspections
  • Load ingredients into kettles
  • Take samples to quality assurance
  • Retrieve and return containers from prep and blanch
  • Verify product quality including item numbers, weights, HACCP checks
  • Follow all required safe work practices including use of PPE and job safety analysis
  • Perform other duties as assigned
