Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a baking role
  • food safety certification is mandatory
  • strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • capacity to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and standing for long durations
  • willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE and uniforms as required

Job Qualifications

  • background in baking or a similar role
  • knowledge of baking procedures, benchmarks, and health standards
  • food safety certification
  • proficiency in basic math and numeracy
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) use and uniform requirements

Job Duties

  • produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • prepare ingredients by quantifying, weighing, blending, and chopping
  • use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • adhere to safety precautions when using utensils like knives
  • store food according to food safety policies and procedures
  • sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
  • provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor
  • follow Aramark safety regulations including food safety and sanitation standards
  • secure company property by following designated security protocols
