Job Requirements

  • Background in baking or similar role
  • Knowledge of baking procedures and health standards
  • Food safety certification(s) required
  • Basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, stand, and walk extensively
  • Ability to use PPE and wear designated uniforms
  • Compliance with safety and food hygiene protocols

  • Background in baking or a similar role
  • Knowledge of baking procedures, benchmarks, and health standards compliance
  • Food safety certification
  • Basic mathematical and numeracy skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficient interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain friendly demeanor with guests, customers, colleagues

Job Duties

  • Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • Complete necessary steps of quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and preparing ingredients
  • Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Adhere to safety precautions when using utensils for food preparation tasks
  • Store food following food safety policies and procedures
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
