Job Requirements
- Background in baking or similar role
- Knowledge of baking procedures and compliance with health standards
- Food safety certification required
- Basic mathematical skills and numeracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extensive walking or standing
- Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment and wear designated uniforms
Job Qualifications
- Background in baking or similar role
- Well-versed in baking procedures, benchmarks, and compliance with health standards
- Food safety certification
- Proficiency in communication through written and verbal channels
- Adept interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Experience utilizing Personal Protective Equipment and wearing uniforms if required
Job Duties
- Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
- Complete necessary steps of quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and preparing ingredients
- Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Adhere to safety precautions when using utensils for food preparation
- Store food in alignment with food safety policies and procedures
- Follow proper hygiene protocols by sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
- Ensure top-notch customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor when assisting guests, customers, clients, coworkers, and others
- Adhere to Aramark safety regulations including food safety and sanitation standards
- Secure company property by observing designated security protocols
