Job Requirements

  • Background in baking or a similar role
  • Knowledge of baking procedures, benchmarks, and health compliance
  • Food safety certification is obligatory
  • Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • Proficient communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking
  • Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment and wear designated uniforms

Job Duties

  • Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • Complete quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and preparation of ingredients
  • Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Adhere to safety precautions when using utensils like knives
  • Store food according to food safety policies and procedures
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
  • Provide excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor
  • Follow safety regulations to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Secure company property by observing designated security protocols
