Job Requirements

  • Background in baking or similar role
  • Knowledge of baking procedures, benchmarks, and health compliance
  • Food safety certification
  • Proficiency in basic math and numeracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for long periods
  • Ability to use personal protective equipment and wear designated uniforms

Job Duties

  • Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
  • Complete quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and ingredient preparation tasks
  • Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Adhere to safety precautions when using utensils such as knives
  • Store food in compliance with food safety policies and procedures
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor
  • Follow safety regulations including food safety and sanitation standards
  • Secure company property by observing designated security protocols
