Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to flex, shape, and lift heavy bags of flour, sugar, and other baking materials up to 50 pounds
  • competence in working with heated ovens and baking appliances

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred
  • knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and production schedules

  • good physical stamina and dexterity

Job Duties

  • engage in the process of making and baking a varied selection of baked delicacies like pies, cookies, pastries, cakes, and bread
  • manage the operation of ovens and baking machinery to guarantee that temperatures are precise and baked items are perfectly cooked
  • monitor ingredient quantities on hand, procure supplies when needed, and organize ingredient storage efficiently
  • keep baking tools, workstations, and cooking utensils free from dirt and germs to uphold a safe and healthy workspace
  • conduct frequent evaluations of baked goods to ensure they satisfy the bakery's expectations in terms of looks, feel, and flavor
