Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical strength to lift and handle heavy bags of ingredients up to 50 pounds
  • competence in working with hot ovens and baking equipment
  • flexibility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • compliance with health department and company food safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a baking or food production environment preferred
  • ability to operate baking machinery
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • strong attention to detail
  • capability to assess the quality of baked products

Job Duties

  • Make and bake a wide variety of baked goods including pies, cookies, pastries, cakes, and breads
  • operate ovens and baking equipment to ensure proper temperatures and perfect baking
  • monitor ingredient inventory levels and order supplies when necessary
  • organize ingredient storage efficiently
  • maintain cleanliness of baking tools, workstations, and utensils
  • conduct regular quality checks of baked items to meet bakery standards
