Job Requirements
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical strength to lift and handle heavy bags of ingredients up to 50 pounds
- competence in working with hot ovens and baking equipment
- flexibility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- compliance with health department and company food safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a baking or food production environment preferred
- ability to operate baking machinery
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- strong attention to detail
- capability to assess the quality of baked products
Job Duties
- Make and bake a wide variety of baked goods including pies, cookies, pastries, cakes, and breads
- operate ovens and baking equipment to ensure proper temperatures and perfect baking
- monitor ingredient inventory levels and order supplies when necessary
- organize ingredient storage efficiently
- maintain cleanliness of baking tools, workstations, and utensils
- conduct regular quality checks of baked items to meet bakery standards
