Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Capability to lift and handle heavy baking materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working with heated ovens and baking equipment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Willingness to adhere to strict cleanliness and food safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in baking or production baking
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
  • Ability to operate baking machinery and ovens
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Make and bake various baked items including pies, cookies, pastries, cakes, and breads
  • Operate ovens and baking machinery ensuring correct temperatures and cooking times
  • Monitor ingredient inventory, order supplies as needed, and manage ingredient storage
  • Maintain cleanliness of baking tools, workstations, and utensils to ensure a hygienic environment
  • Regularly check quality of baked goods for appearance, texture, and flavor consistency
  • Follow all food safety and health department regulations strictly
  • Adjust production quantities according to daily par sheets and demand
