- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and handle heavy bags of ingredients up to 50 pounds
- experience working with hot ovens and baking equipment
- flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

- previous baking experience preferred but not required
- knowledge of baking techniques and procedures
- ability to operate baking machinery safely

Job Duties
- Make and bake a variety of baked goods including pies, cookies, pastries, cakes, and bread
- operate ovens and baking equipment to ensure proper temperatures and cooking
- monitor ingredient inventory and order supplies as necessary
- organize ingredient storage in an efficient manner
- maintain cleanliness of baking tools, workstations, and utensils to ensure a safe work environment
- regularly evaluate baked products to ensure quality in appearance, texture, and taste
- adhere to food safety and health department standards
