This position at the Troy, Ohio location offers a frontline or backline role in the pizza production process. The role is scheduled for the afternoon and evening shift from 2:30 PM to midnight, with an hourly compensation of $20.65 plus a $1.50 shift differential, which increases to $20.75 after 90 days while retaining the shift premium. The job is primarily focused on the final phase of pizza operations or the initial preparation stage including topping, packaging, boxing, dough mixing, sauce handling, and rework tasks. Employees in this position must have the ability to lift heavy weights, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements including twisting and bending. This role involves working on fast-moving conveyor belts requiring excellent hand-eye coordination and basic math skills to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and USDA guidelines is mandatory, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety as the number one priority. The job may also require overtime hours and weekend shifts to meet production demands.
The responsibilities include completing daily paperwork according to quality protocols, supporting safety, quality, and operational initiatives such as 5S, Centerline, and Equipment Ownership, and participating in team training and continuous improvement processes. SAP documentation skills are also part of the job duties. The role demands strong teamwork ability and a willingness to follow directives from supervisors and leads.
