The role of Production Staff at Mission Linen Supply plays a vital part in ensuring the efficient flow of industrial laundry production within their operating plants. Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor or Production Manager, the Production Staff are responsible for various operational tasks that contribute to the smooth processing of laundry items. This full-time role offers a competitive starting pay of $16.50 per hour, with compensation adjusted based on education, experience, location, and qualifications. Production Staff members operate presses and handle multiple stages of laundry processing with precision, including sorting, classifying, and preparing items for pressing according to established plant procedures. They are responsible for lifting and moving garments and linens, ensuring proper storage and distribution across production floors, and assisting in loading trollies into trailers for transport. - experience working with plant equipment or machinery highly desired
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- ability to stand for long term periods of time
- required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Operate press equipment
- process laundry in plant established lot order
- maintain production floor distribution
- shake, sort by route and sequence by route while laying out items prior to pressing
- classify and lay out items for pressing
- separate soil pick-up tickets
- check for needed repairs on items
- lift garments and/or linen onto line storage system
- trolley garments and/or linen for truck pick-up
- load trollies into trailers
- insure colleagues practice safety procedures at all times
- additional duties as assigned
