At their BMW dealership in Westlake, the company is currently seeking a Product Concierge Specialist/Service Concierge to join their dynamic team. Beyond customer interactions, the position also involves training sales and service team members on key vehicle technologies, assisting management with department scheduling and planning, supporting vehicle tracking operations, and ensuring all customer service activities are conducted with professionalism. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or similar positions in automotive, retail, or sales industries
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current California Driver License with satisfactory DMV record required
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Ensures that vehicle has met all pre-delivery checklist requirements
  • Programs personalized settings prior to customer delivery
  • Sets expectations for length of delivery of vehicles
  • Assesses customer knowledge and priorities to personalize delivery for every customer experience
  • Explains and demonstrates vehicle features and technologies, focusing on customer comfort level and retention
  • Follows up with customers within one to two weeks after delivery
  • Resolves customer inquiries for vehicle technology issues
  • Directs customers to additional information resources
  • Conducts owner clinics on a consistent basis
  • Utilizes CRM daily to respond to new leads promptly
  • Assists customers at the service drive with vehicle inquiries
  • Visits customer lounge to introduce Product Concierge services and share vehicle technology insights
  • Trains sales and service staff on key vehicle technologies
  • Answers product questions on the telephone and during walk-ins
  • Troubleshoots vehicle technology and system features
  • Assists in directing and scheduling department employees
  • Shares responsibility with sales manager for planning and leading sales meetings
  • Attends managers meeting and assists in preparation
  • Helps with proactive planning and implementation of projects
  • Ensures dealership policies and procedures are followed by salespeople
  • Provides administrative support for the sales department
  • Reports all new and used sold vehicles to manufacturer
  • Arranges vehicle transportation to customers
  • Follows up consistently with customers after vehicle sale
  • Updates new and used vehicle inventory in a timely manner
  • Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly attitude, assists with service traffic flow and parking
  • Records customer and vehicle information per dealership standards upon arrival
  • Performs key reads and functions to increase check-in efficiency
  • Controls service traffic flow and parking daily
  • Assists lot attendant with service counter duties
  • Escorts customers to cars after completed service
  • Provides assistance for service sales advisors as needed
  • Performs administrative duties such as filing, collating, faxing, and scanning
  • Delivers professional and exemplary customer experience through best core practices
  • Listens actively and communicates clearly to identify and document concerns
  • Identifies client needs beyond expressed concerns with consultative, value added approach
  • Nurtures working relationships to generate repeat and referral work
  • Integrates the Rusnak Standard with personal values into all interactions
