Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED desired
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience in automotive, retail, sales, or hospitality industries
  • Valid California driver license
  • Valid California sales license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot vehicle technology
  • Ability to work on-site
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate dealership hours

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience in automotive, retail, sales, or hospitality
  • High school diploma or GED desired
  • Valid California driver license
  • Valid California sales license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain complex vehicle technologies clearly
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Ability to conduct training sessions
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Performs detailed customer education and delivery on all vehicle models
  • Ensures vehicle has met all pre-delivery checklist requirements
  • Programs personalized settings prior to customer delivery
  • Sets expectations for length of vehicle delivery
  • Assesses customer knowledge and priorities to personalize delivery
  • Explains and demonstrates vehicle features and technologies
  • Follows up with customers within one to two weeks after delivery
  • Resolves vehicle technology inquiries
  • Directs customers to additional resources
  • Conducts owner clinics consistently
  • Utilizes CRM to respond to new leads
  • Follows up with lost sale prospects
  • Provides assistance to customers in service waiting areas
  • Assists customers at service drive with vehicle inquiries
  • Trains team members on key vehicle technologies
  • Answers product questions by phone and in person
  • Troubleshoots vehicle technology and system features
  • Assists management in scheduling and planning
  • Shares responsibility in sales meetings
  • Ensures dealership policies are followed
  • Provides administrative support
  • Reports sold vehicles to manufacturer
  • Arranges vehicle transportation
  • Ensures follow-up with customers after sales
  • Updates vehicle inventory consistently
