Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing or walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders

- basic knowledge of all products carried in department

Job Duties
- Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products
- assist team leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
- monitor and prevent spoilage and communicate waste to buyers, team leaders, and shift supervisor
- complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
- assist with periodic inventory checks
- provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and effectively and model suggestive selling techniques
- maximize sales potential through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of product
- follow and comply with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment and ensure equipment maintenance
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties assigned and ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately report safety hazards and violations
- perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
