This particular role is for a Process Associate/Mixer/Compounder based in Independence, Missouri, specifically on the 3rd shift from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am from Sunday to Thursday. This is a direct hire, full-time position offering a competitive pay rate of $25.48 per hour with an additional $0.50 shift differential. The company provides weekly pay periods, reinforcing its commitment to timely and consistent employee compensation.

The Process Associate/Mixer/Compounder plays a critical role in the manufacturing process, primarily focused on ensuring recipe accuracy, ingredient weighing, and ingredient handling for production. Candidates will be responsible for operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts, maintaining equipment cleanliness and standards, and performing changeovers and washes to uphold quality and minimize production interruptions. The role demands strict adherence to safety and environmental procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Moreover, the position requires vigilance in monitoring product quality and promptly reporting any faults or abnormalities in the process or machinery. The role involves direct collaboration with maintenance personnel to report any mechanical or electrical issues. Job Duties

  • Utilize computer to retrieve recipe information and ingredient quantities
  • weigh individual raw ingredients
  • dump various weight bags of ingredients into stationery hoppers for consumption
  • operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts
  • maintain equipment to the prescribed standards and level of cleanliness
  • carry out product and process changeovers/washes to maintain quality standards while minimizing the impact to the production plan
  • utilize all appropriate safety and environmental procedures relating to the factory and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
  • monitor quality against set standards and report any product and packaging faults
  • detect process abnormalities quickly and take emergency action to prevent them
  • report machine malfunction (mechanical/electrical) to mechanic, electrician, and/or supervisor
  • perform all other duties as assigned
