Job Description

Rose Senior Living Farmington Hills is a premier senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and an enriched lifestyle for its residents. Nestled in a welcoming environment, Rose Senior Living emphasizes not only the well-being of its residents but also fosters a workplace culture that invests significantly in its employees' growth and development. As part of Edward Rose & Sons, a company with a long-standing reputation in senior care, the Farmington Hills community benefits from comprehensive support, innovative programs, and a commitment to senior living excellence. This organization is steadfast in its mission to elevate the lives of seniors by cultivating a compassionate, respectful, and engaging environment where both residents and staff feel valued and empowered.

The role of the hospitality-driven PRN/On-Call Concierge at Rose Senior Living Farmington Hills plays a pivotal part in shaping residents' and visitors' experiences by serving as the welcoming face and primary point of contact. This concierge position is unique as it is on-call and PRN, meaning it does not entail a fixed weekly schedule but rather offers shifts as needed to support the community during busy periods, planned absences, or special events. The hourly pay ranges from $16 to $19 depending on experience. Flexibility is crucial in this role, with available shifts spanning weekdays and weekends in both morning and evening blocks.

Beyond typical front desk responsibilities, this role requires a warm, professional demeanor combined with strong operational skills. Responsibilities include greeting residents and guests, managing telephone coverage, logging maintenance requests accurately using the TELS system, coordinating package deliveries, and assisting various administrative departments such as Human Resources with clerical support. The concierge must handle concerns empathetically, maintain clear communication across shifts, and uphold organizational standards of professionalism and teamwork.

This role is suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments where multitasking, attentive service, and responsiveness significantly impact the community's smooth operation. Rose Senior Living Farmington Hills values team members who demonstrate accountability, follow-through, and a proactive approach to meeting residents' needs. The environment promotes continuous learning and growth with coaching and feedback integral to professional development.

The position’s on-call nature offers opportunities for increased hours and potential consideration for part-time or full-time roles based on reliability and performance. This flexibility can appeal to those balancing other commitments or seeking a meaningful role with variable scheduling within the senior care industry. Employees at Rose Senior Living benefit from competitive wages, comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, dental coverage, paid time off from day one, employee discounts, and wellness programs designed to foster a healthy and engaged workforce.

Joining Rose Senior Living Farmington Hills affords the chance to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors while growing professionally in a respected and stable organization. For anyone passionate about hospitality, senior care, and community engagement, this concierge role offers a fulfilling pathway to contribute meaningfully and build a rewarding career.
