It is well-known for fostering a culture that values respect, integrity, and excellence in service. As part of its commitment to workforce development, Banner Health offers various employment opportunities including the Banner Staffing Services (BSS), which provides Registry/Per Diem positions within its facilities. These positions offer flexible schedules and an excellent pathway to permanent employment within the organization.

The role available is a part-time Food Service worker position within Banner Staffing Services, primarily between 4pm and 8pm with varying days from Monday through Sunday. Employees in this role receive competitive wages, paid orientation, weekly pay, and additional compensation such as weekend shift differentials. This position is perfect for individuals eager to contribute to patient satisfaction by providing efficient and compassionate meal delivery and dietary support services within a healthcare setting.

The position demands excellent customer service skills, the ability to follow food handling and sanitation standards, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. The worker also helps to maintain compliance with health department regulations and resolves any minor issues related to patient menus or meal orders.

While it does not include a medical benefits package, the Food Service worker benefits from a pre-tax retirement plan, wellness programs, employee assistance resources, and entertainment and shopping discounts.
