Morada Senior Living is currently seeking a Concierge to join their team. This role is pivotal in shaping the first impression guests, residents, and employees have upon entering the community. The Concierge acts as the welcoming face of the community, responsible for greeting visitors with warmth, answering inquiries, managing calls, and facilitating smooth communication within the facility. This is a vital position that impacts both resident satisfaction and the overall efficiency of the community’s operations.

The Concierge will perform a range of essential functions including answering phone calls, taking messages, greeting residents and visitors, and providing clear and helpful directions. They also play a key role in supporting the marketing team by collating brochures and assisting with meal ticket preparations. Managing emergency calls and coordinating timely assistance are critical duties, ensuring residents’ safety and well-being remain a priority at all times.

Working in a supportive and organized setting, the Concierge will manage appointments for residents, maintain neatness at the front desk and entry area, distribute mail, and keep essential resident forms up to date. The role requires individuals to adhere strictly to company policies and operating procedures to uphold the high standards of service expected by Morada Senior Living.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • One to three years customer service experience and/or training

Job Duties

  • Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
  • Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
  • Greets residents and visitors
  • answers inquiries and gives directions
  • Collates brochures for the marketing department
  • Prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the Dining staff
  • Responds to emergency calls to coordinate getting 911 for help to the resident in case of emergency
  • Manages appointments for residents and family members such as but not limited to hairdresser, transportation, etc
  • Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
  • Organizes, distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators
  • Maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits
  • Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
