Job Description
DigiStream Investigations is a fast-growing, national private investigation firm headquartered in Murrieta, California, specializing in covert investigations to uncover fraudulent activities, particularly in the area of Worker’s Compensation claims. With over 20 years of experience and a well-established training program, DigiStream blends state-of-the-art technology with skilled investigative techniques to deliver reliable evidence to its clients. Known for its professional environment and commitment to employee growth, DigiStream offers its team members full benefits, company vehicles, paid travel, and access to supportive team dynamics including quarterly team-building events. The company emphasizes autonomy, adventure, and a strong purpose, making it an ideal workplace for those seeking excitement and a meaningful career in investigations or related fields.
The Private Investigator role at DigiStream is unique and dynamic. As a Surveillance Investigator, you will engage in daily activities that go far beyond a traditional desk job. This role requires a curious, adventurous spirit and keen observational skills as you monitor, follow, and record subjects conducting their daily routines to gather evidence for fraud detection. The work includes vehicle and foot pursuits, crafting surveillance strategies tailored to specific case scenarios, and detailed report writing to submit video evidence for client use. This position offers exceptional career growth opportunities through a structured Surveillance Investigator Promotion Track and provides full training to transition candidates who may have no prior experience in private investigations. Successful candidates will benefit from hands-on learning and the chance to build a long-term career in private investigation, law enforcement, security, or related fields. Additionally, DigiStream covers the cost and guides investigators through the licensure process, removing a major barrier to entry in this competitive profession.
This full-time position demands dedication with a workweek averaging 50 hours, inclusive of commute and drive time. The schedule requires availability any day of the week including weekends and holidays, with start times as early as 5:00 am and occasional evening hours. Compensation starts at $20 per hour with opportunities to earn $60,000 to $65,000 annually due to paid commute and overtime. The company’s provision of up-to-date surveillance vehicles and essential equipment ensures that investigators have all tools necessary to perform their duties efficiently and safely. If you're looking for an exciting and rewarding role on the cutting edge of private investigation with ample employee benefits and career advancement prospects, DigiStream Investigations is an outstanding choice.
