Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
- High school or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 3 years of private dining experience
- Ability to successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check

Job Duties
- Identifying and contacting prospective clients to promote banquet and catering services
- Administering marketing information packets to local businesses
- Developing and maintaining relationships with local concierge and convention sites
- Preparing event contracts with clients for all events booked using established room minimums and guest guarantees, reiterating in contract form all specified details concerning event
- Advising and recommending to clients menu selections and room set-up, executing catering menus by consulting with chefs to select potential menus, evaluating past popularity of menu options and availability of seasonal food ingredients
- Working closely with the Chef to assure proper costing and food totals, minimizing waste by anticipating food consumption and estimating cost of ingredients
- Arranging for all related amenities with outside vendors negotiating for best price for clients, placing orders with suppliers, scheduling delivery of food and beverages when required by event
- Communicating details of events to restaurant management (e.g., Kitchen, Bar, and Wait staff)
- Representing the company at trade association meetings, Chamber of Commerce, and other fairs to promote banquet and catering sales
- Identifying current and future customer service requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
- Maintaining customer satisfaction by investigating and resolving customer complaints
- Meeting or exceeding financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions
- Performing other duties as assigned
