The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is a historic and renowned venue known for being one of the city’s premier entertainment destinations. With a seating capacity of 4,665, the Fox Theatre hosts more than 250 live performances annually, ranging from concerts and ballets to comedy shows and movies. Job Requirements
- Education level and relevant experience per job specification
- Ability to work variable shifts including days nights weekends and holidays
- Successful completion of a post-offer pre-employment background check
- Ability to traverse the building including moving between multiple floors
- Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
- Ability to lift materials or equipment some of which may be heavy or awkward
- Regular periods of continuous physical exertion
- Compliance with all safety and building protocols
Job Qualifications
- Experience in event management or coordination
- Basic knowledge of building safety standards and protocol
- Exceptional guest or customer service skills including clear communication and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive approach and excellent problem-solving skills
- Preferred ability to troubleshoot basic audiovisual systems
- Preferred experience in crowd management
Job Duties
- Supervise and facilitate all aspects of day-of event execution and guest relations including proper room setup and floor plans housekeeping maintenance temperature control audiovisual and lighting kitchen readiness security damage prevention food and beverage service and staff
- Facilitate multi-vendor load-in and load-out of the building using multiple entrances including audiovisual entertainment decor floral caterer beverages event design
- Serve as the Fox Theatre representative to clients vendors and guests
- Facilitate emergency response coordination with police security and maintenance personnel including alarm systems first aid evacuation shelter-in-place communications with life safety fire codes and occupancy compliance
- Perform other duties as directed
