Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year management experience in hospitality
- Minimum 1-2 years event experience
- Ability to carry 15 pounds repetitively
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to access all facility areas and perform required physical tasks
- Professional demeanor
- Must adhere to all employee policies and operational regulations
- Ability to handle stressful and fast-paced work environments
- Must work onsite full-time in New Orleans, LA
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year management experience in the hospitality industry
- Minimum 1-2 years event experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient multitasking ability
- Ability to recall and memorize menu items
- Capable of working in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Proficient in English communication, both oral and written
- Ability to use software and technology for communication and POS programming
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Duties
- Manages the execution of private events and is the Manager on Duty to carry out all items detailed on the BEO
- Oversees room resets for the following day's events and maintains a tour ready appearance
- Checks in regularly with the client and reviews timelines and floorplans
- Leads event team to follow Common House's Private Event Standards
- Manages client communication and event detailing from booking through event completion
- Leads tastings, final walkthroughs, BEO preparation and staff coordination
- Inputs consumption and bar details and sends final invoices
- Maintains good relationships with staff, managers, and vendors
- Supports front of house operations including managing floor operations, soliciting member feedback, and driving efficiency
- Upholds service standards and provides performance feedback
- Conducts regular audits and maintains compliance with ABC and health regulations
